BLOOOOOGGG!

I just recently finished a concentration piece that seemed to ressemble this famous russian souvenir, called a Matryroska. These dolls have been around for more then a century, and many storys can be depicted from these iconic figures. They come from all different parts of russia and can tell many storys about that region and their culture. These things are pretty cool, they have gave me a lot of ideas from looking at their shape. take a look, let me know what you think of them?

Im at a loss for idea's, ive been working on the twisted form for too long that i havent had any time to really think about any other ideas. If anyone has any cool ideas for me, just let me know. My concentration is the inspirations from architecture.

My next concentration piece that im currently working on, is a wheel thrown sphere. Im not sure what im goign to do with it yet, but i have a few ideas. These past two days ive been practicing throwing the form and its been causing me alot of difficulties. Makeing the bottom half of the sphere match the top is whats killing me, and kind of driving me crazy. Im just going to have to keep practicing until i get it!

Concentration

The concentration piece that im currently working on was inspired from a curved building, it almost looks exactly like the building but with a little twist added to it. For those of you that dont know what concentration is, its the inspirations from architecture.

The Proof

The LaVang Maing is in the christmas spirit i say. I stoped by to drop off the poster which he was super stowked on, and then out of nowhere he asked me if i wanted a bowl of soup, for FREE! The christmas tunes he had playing must have finally of gotten to his head, in a good way though casue he was all golly and jolly which he never is. And that my little story to dropping off my poster, exciting i know.
